B2B Technology Storytelling Can be just as interesting and exciting as B2C—in fact, it has to be.
My career as an Executive Writer and Corporate Storyteller started auspiciously when I was taking notes on a whiteboard in a meeting and thought it was spelled “Sea-Suite Executives.” Luckily, there was nowhere to go but up from there.
Today, as a B2B technology Senior Writer, I have a decade of experience helping global technology companies like Microsoft, Cisco, and SAP Global harness the power of storytelling to hit strategic goals.
Currently, I’m the Senior B2B Writer at SAP Global, where I spend my days translating complex technical concepts into crisp, compelling prose that converts using my J.U.I.C.Y. Framework (Jargon-free, Unique Value Proposition, Interesting, Clear Benefit, You-Focused.)
During my tenure, the average Keynote Approval Rating has risen from 83% to 90%. Here is one of the speeches (and yes, I also consulted on the fabulous dress.)
I love B2B storytelling because it’s challenging, strategic, and extremely rewarding.

Nice things people said about me….
“I had the pleasure of working with Jade on the internal marketing team at New Engen. Jade came into a fairly undefined role and was tasked with helping to build out a content strategy function. She helped us think through not just what we needed to create, but pushed us to think more creatively about the story we were telling – with a strong focus on customers. She served as a mentor for other members of our team, both those that reported to her and those that didn’t. She has a way of connecting with those around her that is genuine and compassionate. She consistently brought so much light and life to our office and team – she’s truly a joy to work with.”
—Shannon Hill, New Engen Marketing Director
“Jade oversaw the creative department when I started as a copywriter. She is what every team needs in a leader: hardworking, encouraging, and able to clearly communicate expectations and goals. Under her direction, projects consistently met time and budget requirements and greatly pleased clients. She's one of the most creative thinkers I've come across in my career.”
